These are some tips that I hope will make the ordering process easier. First and foremost, if you have any difficulty with the order form, have any questions, etcetera, just email me or call me at the phone number on the bottom of this page. And, along with that, be sure to provide your phone number and email address so that I can easily reach you if I have any questions about your order!

Okay, you've got your photos, you've determined which one is your favorite pose, made any notes about changes you want and cropping. Time to think about some extra options. After completing a portrait I will mount it on a foam core backing and mat it at no extra charge, unless you specify otherwise. On the order form you can indicate what color you would like the mat to be. If you choose, I will be happy to frame the portrait in one of several attractive wood or metal frames.

Also, with every portrait order, I make a free portrait mug that has your portrait on it. If you are interested in purchasing additional mugs, you can order them with the original portrait order or at a later date. Your portrait can also be put onto shirts, puzzles, mousepads and more. See the Transfers section for more details. Note that you can order one or dozens and there is no setup charge. It's easy and they make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and the holidays!

When you place your order, please be sure to specify if you would like to have some special message put onto your portrait mug. See the Custom Text sub-page on the Transfers page for the available fonts.

Once you have placed your order, a web page will be automatically created for you on my website. You can log on to it to check the progress of your portrait order, upload additional photos and later use it to order more transfers on shirts, mugs, etc at any time. It's your own personal store for your portrait!

Things to remember when ordering!

  1. Specify any special text message you would like to have on your free portrait mug in your choice of fonts!
  2. What mat color would you like for your portrait?
  3. Would you like to have your portrait framed?
  4. Do you need the portrait in a rush? By a specific date for an event?
  5. Do you need Next Day Air shipping or is UPS Ground okay?
  6. Since I ship via UPS I need a street address because they won't deliver to a Post Office Box. If you only have a Post Office Box and can't get UPS delivery, let me know and I'll see what I can do. That may increase the cost of the shipping slightly as the Post Office tends to be more expensive than UPS once insurance and tracking have been added.
  7. Would you like the portrait gift wrapped?
  8. Would you like the portrait drop shipped to someone else? (e.g., a gift)
  9. Be sure to give me any special instructions in the comments area of the order form so your portrait will be just what you want.
